THE PURCHASE OF YOUR PUPPY
Before acquiring a dog, here are some precautions.
First contact the SCC (Société Centrale Canine) for a list of available puppies, then check with breed clubs or associations. Indeed any breeder telling the pedigree is not necessarily above all suspicion (some should not even have a dog saw the conditions under which they raise, while others begin the pedigree registration puppies for number file but not only register dogs .... but after much legal procedures these people are known as it is safer to check before ...).
Some golden rules
- Visit the farm to absolutely make sure that the puppies are raised in good conditions and they all rush to you for papouilles and kisses, in the otherwise turn back without mercy.
- When you buy a puppy it should be mandatory IDENTIFIED (law of January 6, 1999) by a tattoo or a microchip.
- Serious people, by individuals or breeders breed their dogs have taken the trouble to test these same dogs for hip dysplasia (at least). The eye tests and verification by a veterinarian approved ball is more significant.
The individual or the breeder will take care to select a stallion with a correct gene and also tested.
Ask to see the tests of dysplasia of the hip (with yellow leaves header of the SCC of two parents) and leaves of the veterinary ophthalmologist when testing for eye defects have been made. (You can find the list of approved veterinarians to the site of the SCC)
Do not buy on a whim, sometimes you have to wait. Go see shows, talk with breeders, listen, watch, surf.
There are breeders whose only interest is their wallet and that the only selection is to marry a dog with one another. Others, passionate, will talk for hours about their dogs.
Beware of unusually low prices in general one does only rarely gives away quality puppies.
Do not buy from non pedigree even though they are less expensive to buy (though often the price is high relative to quality). With a dog with not pedigree you have no guarantee of race (can you say anything, there is no traceability). Who says no guarantee, said no appeal!
THE RACE IS YOUNG, passionate lovers of the breed's fighting for it to be recognized and that sometimes at the expense of their personal lives. The best tribute we can make these people who fought and sacrificed their time and leisure is not to encourage non-pedigree.

When buying: the breeder must give you:
- The tattoo card or chipping (made on this check on the chip by your veterinarian with a transponder because there are so-called dog fleas that have on them as cute little critters biting but nothing electronic).
- The file number or provisional registration in the Society Central Canine. In two months they have just been tattooed so you have time in this case the CSC record.
- A booklet or documents relating to the maintenance, education, and food for your puppy.
- A contract of sale and an invoice. The contract must stipulate all the conditions of sales, reservations, destination of the dog (what it is intended).
- The vaccination up to date. The puppy is generally vaccinated in primary vaccination HPLC, Square, hepatitis, leptospirosis and parvovirus.
- Legal guarantees to be mentioned on the certificate of sale (usually the back)
If you notice any anomalies, such as undershot or higher, a lack of testicles .... in this case it is better to spend its way or well buy it knowingly. In this case the price should be minus and everything should be notified on the certificate of sale.
In any case the purchase of a puppy, regardless of race is a gesture to reflect and look carefully.
If something seems odd, you ask.
If the explanations of the farmer do not seem clear, do not take the puppy. DO NOT BUY INTO CLOSE YOUR EYES.
A DOG IS 15 YEARS OF LIFE. IT IS BETTER TO ALL THE ODDS OF YOUR SIDE TO HAVE A DOG THAT SHARE YOUR LIFE AND YOU BRING THAT RATHER THAN HAPPY TO HAVE A DOG WHO CAN BECOME A SOURCE OF PROBLEMS, AS A RESULT OF THAT HIS HEALTH BECAUSE OF HIS CHARACHTER.
