
Friendly and full of life, the Japanese Spitz has a remarkable ability to adapt and quickly understands what attitude it should adopt. This quality, coupled with its size mat makes a companion at all times, able to accompany you wherever you go.

It is a very sociable dog who likes other animals. Very close to you, it looks for human company and likes to be involved in all meetings. Loneliness if it has to be imposed will have to be a progressive learning and for all dogs.
He needs to evacuate its natural dynamism during long walks and game play.

BRIEF HISTORICAL SUMMARY: It is believed that the Japanese Spitz German Spitz down the great white that was introduced in Japan in 1920 after crossing the continent of Siberia and northeastern China. By 1921, this breed was introduced for the first time in an exhibition in Tokyo. Subsequently, in 1925, two pairs of white Spitz were imported from Canada, then, until about 1936, these dogs were imported from Canada, the United States, Australia and China. Eventually their offspring were subjected to cross in order to improve the breed. After the Second World War in 1948, a unified standard of the breed was established by the Japan Kennel Club standard that was in force so far.
GENERAL APPEARANCE: a dress with abundant pure white, with pointed muzzle, erect triangular ears and bushy tail carried over back, sturdily built, it is well balanced as a whole. Its harmonious beauty arouses up and dignity of its own and expresses elegance.
IMPORTANT PROPORTION: The ratio of height at withers to body length is 10: 11.
BEHAVIOUR / TEMPERAMENT: Intelligent, gay, very awake. Noisy dogs are not allowed.
HEAD: The head in its dimensions, is proportionate to the body, moderately broad and rounded.
CRANIAL REGION:
Skull: The forehead is moderately developed. The back of the skull is wide.
Stop: Marked.
FACIAL REGION:
Nose: Small, round and black.
Muzzle: Pointed, with tip slightly rounded, well balanced. Lips tight and preferably black.
Jaws / Teeth: Teeth white and strong with scissor bite.
Eyes: Moderately large, almond shaped, set slightly oblique, dark in color. Eye rims black.
Ears: Set high, small, triangular, erect, facing forward and not too far apart.
NECK: Moderately long, well developed muscles.
BODY:
Withers: High.
Back: Straight and short.
Loins: Broad.
Chest: Broad and deep, ribs well sprung.
Belly: Well tucked up.
TAIL: Set high, moderately long, carried on the back.
MEMBERS:
Forelegs: Shoulders sloping, forearms straight, elbows tight.
Hindquarters: Muscular, moderate angulation of stifle and hock.
Feet: Cat feet. Pads thick, preferably black, as are the nails.
Movement: Quick and active.
COAT:
HAIR: Outer coat straight and stand undercoat short, soft and dense. On the face, ears, the anterior forearm and the metatarsals the hair is short, all the rest is covered with a profuse and long hair, neck, shoulders and chest are a beautiful crop, the tail also has long and abundant hair in the shape of the plume.
Color: Pure white.
SIZE: Height at withers: Dogs 30-38 cm.
Females are slightly smaller than males.
FAULTS: Any departure from the foregoing should be considered a fault to be in exact proportion to its severity.
· Overshot or undershot mouth.

· Topic fearful about noise.
ELIMINATING FAULTS:
· Drop ears.
· Tail not carried over back.
NB: Male animals should have two apparently normal testicles fully descended into the scrotum
